Netflix's 'The Mosquito Bowl', directed by Peter Berg, features Nicholas Galitzine and Bill Skarsgård. It is based on a true story. The film follows four college football players who join the Marines during WWII. Early reviews note the technical skills but criticize the lack of emotional depth. Ray Nicholson, that played a Marine, had knee surgery during filming but returned to work the next day. The movie showcases Pat McAfee in his first acting role.
